Workshop Description ::
There’s a myth I was living by that I didn’t even realize. That meditation needed to be done in a pocket of stillness I created. I’d wait for those rare pockets of silence, clutching at the hope that if I could just carve out a little more time, a little more space, I could finally settle into myself. As soon as I realized it was time to let this go, I freed myself of the pain I was enduring of never getting a moment to myself. And thus began the journey of meditating while my baby plays around me.
The world rarely offers us the perfect conditions for peace. The invitation, is to find a gentle steadiness within, even as the world clatters and spins. Inner peace isn’t about escaping chaos; it’s about learning to breathe in the heart of it. It’s about being the calm center, the safe harbor, for ourselves-and for the little souls watching us, learning that peace is possible, no matter the noise.
This is the practice. This is the gift.
Breath is the most ancient companion we have. It’s the silent witness to every moment of our lives-rising and falling, expanding and contracting, always present, always available. In Buddhist philosophy, the breath is an anchor, a gentle reminder of impermanence and presence. It is both the wave and the shore.
This circle we will gather with an intentional container we’ve created to reflect on how we are allowing ourselves to be driven by the store, to look deeper at where we’ve let life take our inner peace. Most of all we will gather to RECLAIM OUR INNER PEACE.
What to bring:
- a notebook to write in and a pen
- yourself, and your open mind
- a yoga mat if you have one (this helps with sand if it’s wet from morning dew or winter storms)
- TWO blankets (one to lay on and one for over you)
- Dress comfortably (there is minimal shade at the beach so dress accordingly)
Notes ::
7th street Manhattan Beach, walk down to the sand, there will be a little hut on the sand to your right, (the public restrooms) and you will find us there.
parking can be tricky down at the beach, the meters are old and only take coins, so plan accordingly, or you can park a little higher in residential streets. My tip is always 1st street and Highland or Manhattan Ave, and walking over.
*All Beach Breathwork circle’s are subject to weather. No refunds or cancellations. We will move this container to the online space in case of weather.
What you agree to by signing up:
- signing a Patient Consent Form prior to the workshop as passed out by Jenna Reiss from Jenna Reiss LLC.

What is Breathwork ::
Breathwork is a 2-step active breathing technique that moves stagnant energy in the body. This practice can leave you feeling open and more ready to step into life as your authentic, natural self. If you’re interested in learning more, I’ve written an article about Breathwork here:
